             Welcome and thank you for visiting the "blog for Indie Artist/Musicians. As my first post I though it would be appropriate to make it known why I write this post in the first place. As a writer for years there is no worse horror story than that of the "Cheated Musician" almost to a point where it is a cliche now. The term is more normal than it should be. What you don't hear is that there are just as many avenues (mostly free) for the Independent Artist (if not more) than the artist that chooses to sign to a major label. Especially with the assistance of the World Wide Web opportunities for Independent artist have opened up like never before. The music industry is indeed changing and with the technological advantages we now have at our disposal, now more than ever we as artist can stand alone and be heard and respected.

                My intention is to research and present every way an Indie artist (and his music) can if possible gain an edge in the industry.  I will present pertinent information here on the blog post that will benefit the Indie artist in all aspects of their music.
